COOKING & BAKING WORKSHOPS

Dinner Club: 

Students make a meal to bring home dinner for their family. Meals feeds a family of 4-6.

Class Minimum: 12 students
Class Time: 90 min (please allow for additional 30 min for setup per 12 students.
Ages/Grades: Our classes are designed for grades 1st – 6th
Cost: $42 per student. 
  • 1 class per day $42/ student (3-4 cafeteria tables)
  • 2 classes per day with a 40-min break in between (24-kids minimum) $38/ student
  • 3 classes per day with a 40-min break in between (30-kids minimum) $32/ student
  • 4 classes (2 classes running simultaneously) (48-kids minimum) $36/ student

  • We can make anything scheduled the week before, the week of, or the week after your desired date.
  • We can accommodate a specialized meal, outside our menu schedule for a flat charge of $150.

Workshops:

Our workshops can accommodate 30+ kids. Workshops can be done over several hours in a day or split over a few days, but each day we charge a base rate of $350

Workshop Time: 45-minute total run time per group of 6-14
  • Group 1: 45-minute class of 14 kids
  • 15-minute reset
  • Group 2: 45-minute class of 14 kids
  • Additional groups of 14 kids can be added at 60-minute increments.
Set-up & Clean up: Please allow for additional 45-minutes before and after for setup and cleanup time.
Ages/Grades: Our classes are designed for grades 1st – 6th
Cost:
  • Base rate: $350 for a group of 6 - 20
  • $12 per additional student, per day
 
Fruit Sushi: Using a bamboo mat, we will roll slices of fresh fruit and rice in a soy wrapper. We will garnish our sliced sushi with toasted coconut and berries and served with a side of vanilla-coconut crème and lime-honey-mint sauce on the side! Each Student gets to make 1-2 rolls.

​Mini Fruit Tarts: Kids will start with a graham cracker crust and then choose between lemon butter and raspberry jam for their filling, pipe a yogurt crème top, and garnish with fresh berries, herbs, and edible flowers! They will get to make 2-3 to eat or take home!

Jam Making: Students will choose between raspberries and strawberries and by adding their choice of sugars, flavors, and spices they will create a 4 oz custom jam to bring home!

Hot Chocolate Packs: Using Dutch Cocoa Powder, sugar, extracts, candies, and fruit kids can design, mix, and package their own Hot Cocoa mixes! Kid can make 4-6 different types, package, and label them, making great gifts for the holidays or a warm treat on rainy weekends!

Space Needs For All Classes & Workshops:

  • Access to space before and after for set-up and clean up.
  • Non-carpeted floors​
  • 3-5 cafeteria length tables (this will increase depending on our numbers and the lesson)
  • Access to a sink, electricity, and garbage/compost bins during class
  • Oven for Baking workshops only.
