Chili and Cornbread (Ages 18+)
Sat, 10/25 6pm
Chili: During the class, we will begin by preparing a basic mirepoix and incorporating tomato sauce, beans, vegetables, and beef. Participants will have the opportunity to adjust the spiciness by creating their customized chili spice blend. Additionally, while preparing the cornbread, we will cover the basics of batter breads.
In this class participants gain essential culinary skills by preparing dinner. They create flavorful dishes centered around seasonal ingredients, cooking from scratch, and using natural preservatives, while developing knife skills and maintaining kitchen safety. Meals, each serving 4 to 6, are packaged in oven-ready dishes with baking instructions.
Vegetarian options can be requested during registration. All meals are nut-free; for other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us directly via email.
