Advanced Baking Camp
From pastries and pies to fillings and frostings, students will explore the importance of local ingredients, scratch baking, and natural preservatives, while discussing the science of baking and the roles ingredients play in making our baked goods. While our confections are cooking, we will practice dough kneading, rolling, and forming and playing with different frosting tips and decorating techniques. Make your cake and eat it too! We will end the week by making a small cake to take home and share with your family!
- For: Grades 6th -12th
- Dates: July 29th - Aug 2nd
- Time: 9am - 12pm
**Parent drop off is between 8:45am - 9:10am. Parent pick up is between 12pm - 12:15pm
