ZOOM Dinner Club
Once a week, parents and kids will work together to make a delicious dish that feeds a family of 4-6! Students will join our teacher in walking through and completing our easy to understand steps-by-step meals! Students will be working with knives or knife alternatives (kitchen shears, box graters, or peelers) and will be doing some stove-top cooking or oven-baking during parts of class, so adult support is needed.

- Time: 3:30pm -5:30pm
- Dates: Oct 14th – Dec 16th (no class on 11/11 or 11/25)
- Price: $230 (for 8-wks) PRICED PER FAMILY, so siblings can work together on the meal!
- Drop-in and try one class for $35
For the safety of our staff and your family, all ingredients will need to be purchased and prepped by parents prior to class. We will send out detailed emails a week prior to each class, highlighting lesson details and providing a shopping list, parental prep guide, and all class materials needed!

- Shopping for needed ingredients and gathering tools before class.
- Food prep like cooking meats, rice, or pasta. Also, washing and halving produce, so that it is safer to cut.
- Helping monitor knife skills and safety.
- Cooking what is being added or cooked on the stove during the meal.
CLASS FORMAT:
- Class will be held via ZOOM so you can interact with your instructors, ask questions, and learn together.
- We follow the same ZOOM meeting guidelines as the Seattle Public School to ensure the safety of our students.
- Students will need an authenticated ZOOM account. -Some food prep will be needed as well as some adult supervision during class.
- ZOOM details will be provided upon confirmation.
SUPPLY PICKUP & INGREDIENTS:
- We will offer a check out and pick up option for plastic knives, sharp knives, and cutting boards if needed.
- We will send out detailed emails a week prior to each class, highlighting lesson details and providing a shopping list, parental prep guide, and all class materials needed!
- For the safety of our staff and your family, all ingredients are self-sourced and will need to be purchased and prepped by parents prior to class.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Lessons are designed for kids to cook with their parents or another adult. Use of knives, kitchen tools, stoves, ovens, or other sharp or hot items should always be closely supervised.
- Students will need internet access and have the ability to be seen and heard during the ZOOM Class. (laptop or smart phone could work)
- Stove, oven, and standard cooking pots and utensils.
